2025 Fall Mini Photo Sessions

Fall Mini Sessions are back

Mini Sessions are short photography sessions that are becoming quite popular, and I thought I would offer this to you! These types of photography sessions are perfect for holiday cards, back to school pictures, or just celebrating and documenting the growth of your family! This could become an annual event for you and your family.

This mini session will give my clients the chance to get Family Photography with pricing packages significantly below the pricing of my regular sessions. The sessions are shorter in duration, around 20-25 minutes, and they are limited to a single location. You’ll receive 5 images from this shoot. Clients choose from available time slots and dates, each with limited availability. So, if you see a time slot that works for you, I highly recommend booking quickly, as these types of sessions book fast!

Do the mini sessions have to be family photos?

No. You may use your mini session time for any type of portrait session. This can include a couple’s session, a maternity session, a senior graduation portrait session and more. You can even use this time slot for headshots. The only portrait session that I will not allow is newborn sessions, as those require a controlled environment and specialized equipment.

Is there a limit on family members in the mini session?

Yes. There is a 5-person max, however you may add other family members for an additional fee. Email me in at Andy@TVFphotos.com, if you’d like to add this to your sitting.

What should I wear to my mini session?

I recommend wearing clothing that matches or compliments everyone in the photo. This does not necessarily mean that everything needs to be the same color, but the style and colors should look intentional. Consider the following:

• Should we go with formal, casual or something in between? Avoid mixing and matching casual and formal wear.

• Should we stick to a color palette? For example, different tones of blue, red or another primary color can look great.

• Should we be silly? Sometimes a silly theme is perfect for family photos, such as matching onesies. Or ugly Christmas sweaters!

What matches the scene? This session will have a nature feel/vibe to it with natural greens and browns. You may choose to either match or compliment the scene.

May I bring my own props to my mini session?

Yes! Feel free to personalize your session. My advice, however, is to not get too elaborate. I’d like to spend much of our time making sure that the photos turn out exactly how you want them to look, rather than fiddling with props and trying to make them work.

How many outfits should I bring?

The shorter mini session time frame only allows for one outfit. Please come dressed and ready to go!

May I bring pets?

You may bring your pet, but please ensure that they are well behaved. Keep in mind the shorter the duration of the shoot and understand that getting the right position and expression for your pet may take time that chips into capturing other types of photos.

When should we arrive?

The shoot will start promptly at the arranged time so please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your official start time.

Do prints come with the mini session promo?

No. You will receive a digital gallery where you can view and download your images directly and purchase prints which will be shipped directly to you.

Can I get more than 5 images?

Yes. You can purchase additional images on the gallery site for $15 per image. Please email Andy@TVFphotos.com for more details on pricing.

What if we want more time for photos?

You may purchase back-to-back slots (if available) to get 2 - 20-minute sessions. Or we can work with you to book a full family session that allows you to choose the location and have 60 minutes of photography. To book full family session email Andy@TVFphotos.com

What is your cancellation policy?

Mini Sessions are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. Life happens, and I totally get it. If you absolutely cannot make your session and you cancel with at least 24 hour’s notice, you will receive a credit towards a future session. No-shows or cancellations outside the requested time frame will not receive credit.

What is the price?

The mini session is $195.00. Invoices will can sent either by text message or email. The total must be paid in full to secure your date and time.
